Originally Jim played keyboard and
Mike played guitar and sang -
even the songs Jim wrote.
Eventually Jim realized he had a
better voice than his older brother
and made the wise choice of
singing his own songs and now
mostly plays guitar. They continue
to play and record together in Late
Model Humans and Jim is now also
recording and releasing solo

Going all the way back to the eighties here's SHC performing Mike's "Headache" with a little bit of
accompaniment by some crickets and an airplane - recorded in a park in Kew Gardens, Queens when Mike
